Swine = Pigs

Our kids will be raising pigs for their 4H projects this year. Each of the girls will participate in the Benton County Fair in August. This is our first venture into raising pigs after several years of raising sheep.

Many thanks to the Bacho family for connecting us to a pig farmer with 4H quality animals and also helping us to secure a location to raise the animals.

A few days ago, the kids went out and selected their hogs. We should bring them home by the end of February. The following pictures were from our adventure to the pig farm to choose the animals. Enjoy!
