The children found this little Anna hummingbird in the street last night. We think that he must have been hit and stunned by something or fell out of a nearby nest. He cannot fly yet, but he sure is a hungry little fella. We kept him inside all night and fed him sugar water before bed and again this morning. Around 10 am we took him to the Chintimini Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. They were happy to care for him and I am thankful for their knowledge and ability to help! It was so fun to see such a beautiful little creature up close.
